You’ve added your new domain as a staging subdomain and it did not meet the criteria. I fixed it and it should be working now.
The main license encompasses lartigue.ch and all of it’s subdomains, so portfolio.lartigue.ch automatically gains a license as well.

Sadly, that will not work. For example, if your first video is a broken mp4, it just shows as broken and doesn’t search for others. The second video only starts playing, if the primary format is not supported.

The video has its set aspect ratio. The player size being stretched in height is an inevitable downside of stretching it to the side. If the video wasn’t made bigger in general, but only stretched to the sides, it would distort the picture. Meaning, you either get black borders or a video stretched in height. Alternatively, many popular applications do away with this issue by creating blurry borders instead of plain black borders. This could be another possible solution.

We don’t feature Cloudflare CORS setup in the attached guide, but it shouldn’t be too hard to look up somewhere else.

If so, please check, if the 240p option is available on the original video. Also, if those are YouTube videos, sadly there is no Chromecast API available to use for YouTube videos, thus as much as we’d like to, we cannot support it at the moment.
- This happens, because you have Optimize JS loading option enabled. The option helps page speed ratings by loading the rest of the page first, then loading FV Player only after the page has been interacted with.
You can easily disable it by unchecking Settings -> FV Player -> Integrations/Compatibility -> Optimize FV Flowplayer JS loading. If you want to learn more about this feature, you can do so here: https://foliovision.com/player/settings/optimize-javascript-loading

By “as backups” Martin means having, for example, two .mp4 videos on two separate sources. Should the source number one fail, the second source starts loading up. This is what the paid Alternative Sources add-on does.
If you want to just provide different formats to ensure maximal coverage across browsers and devices, for example one .mp4 file and one .webm file, that can be done in the base FV Player plugin as well.

This means that you have an extension installed in your browser which creates these issues when in your typical browser environment. You can also try a different browser just to make sure.
What this means for you is that you can go down the list of your browser extensions and disabling them, until you find the one that creates the issue. Please, let us know which extension causes the issue and how important it is for you to have this extension installed.

The up and down slider on the Vertical Style can somewhat be used with arrows, We could look into that and make the behavior purposeful and more elegant. I’ll ask Martin about that. However, such behavior would be limited only to some playlists. Any horizontal sliders could not be operated by left and right arrows, as those are already used to skip and rewind within the video.

This truly is an odd behavior. We’ve run some simple tests and it is not a global bug. Which means that this is either an issue of your browser or your website environment.
Since you’ve had the same reports from your users, it is most likely the environment of your website. Meaning, either the theme or a plugin conflict. Could you try testing a different theme (the theme preview mode should suffice)?
Let us know, if that solves the issue. If it doesn’t, you can continue by trying to disable installed plugins one by one to pinpoint the one that may be causing the issue and then letting us know about the plugin.Making the web work for you,

I’ve checked your video and can confirm that I run into the very same issue. However, I’ve tested YouTube videos with lightbox on a different website and could not reproduce the issue.
Therefore, this seems as a possible plugin or theme conflict.
Could you try changing the theme (using the preview theme mode should suffice)? Let us know, if the issue prevails.If it does, try going down the list of your enabled plugins and disabling them one by one to pinpoint which one may be causing the issue.

I forgot to mention that video ads are shown with the other videos, but are preceded by “Video ad:”, as you can see on the 6th item in the screenshot: “Video ad: Bunny Ad”, with “Bunny Ad” being the title I manually set for the ad.

We apologize for the late reply. The custom dimensions and metrics are not in the general dimensions picker by default. You will have to customize your reports in order to add and see the correct parameters.
A detailed guide on how to create a custom video report and save it, will be ready later today.
For the time being, here’s a short overview of the main steps:
- In your analytics dashboard, go to Reports -> Engagement -> Events.
- In the right hand top corner, there is a icon of a pencil that reads “Customize report” on hover. Click it.
- A panel will show up on the right hand side.
- In Report data, click Dimensions and pick the dimension you need from the dropdown menu. Based on the needs you’ve expressed previously, you’ll want to pick the Video title dimension.
- You can right click the dimension to set it as default, or you can add the dimension as a secondary one (by clicking the plus button next to primary dimension) to view it related to other dimensions, such as the page or video play events.
- You can save the customized report for further use.

Just to clarify, these video not found are showing up on the new domain with your FV player database migrated, right?
You can also send us a report via our built-in video checker? The way the video checker works is that you need to come in as admin and open the video checker and send us a report about the video. It works on desktops. You can also just screenshot or paste the contents of the check here.

The guide is deprecated. We suggest using AWS MediaConvert instead, as it does the same thing, but is much more efficient, easier to set up and use, and more cost effective. The guide for Elastic Transcoder has not been updated for years and is kept online just in case.

However, if the videos are publicly accessible (for example unlisted videos), they can be played even if you do not have the account assigned in FV Player settings.

The order of videos in the playlists follows the order in which they are written in the shortcode. Is this not a viable solution for you? What is your reasoning for requesting this feature?
I will notify our programmers about your request, but I do have some bad news for you. If they’d like to go ahead with it, it would definitely be done as a custom development, as not many, if any, of our users would be interested in this feature. Especially as most use the visual editor.

we’re sorry to hear you’re facing these issues.
We never recommend using Cloudflare CDN (especially the free one) for videos, as it is against their ToS. Thus, Cloudflare probably blocked you because of violating this rule. They’ve launched Cloudflare Stream for videos a year ago. It works just fine with FV Player, but there are much cheaper options of equal quality out there.
Sadly, FV Player cannot be configured in such an way. So, your best options right now are using a different CDN for your videos altogether, or using Cloudflare streams.

based on your settings screen, you have currently disabled the video checker. Make sure your videos have the little “Admin checker:” message in top left corner.
Is sending a sample video necessary? Once you click the message, you will be able to see information about the video. It is best to just send us a screenshot/ copied text or an automatic report via the admin video checker. The information Martin needs should be included there.

The download button can be used to download other types of files as well. So, you can add a separate button for downloading the subtitles. Your viewers can then easily load them into their media player. Most media players allow for loading subtitles, but VLC is a sure bet.
(To achieve a single file, you can hardcode them into the file. That is, if you’re fine with the subtitles always being in the footage and not being able to turn the subtitles off.)

It seems you have created two pull zones. Based on the traffic visible on the avestrelaPULLzone.b-cdn.net, but mostly because it is a volume tier, we suggest you use that one. Volume tier is better suited to video serving. But you can insert both the domains in FV Player settings and just separate them with a comma.
As for the settings, please go to Settings -> FV Player -> Hosting and scroll down to find BunnyCDN. Please check, if you’ve got both the domain and the API key correctly filled in (As seen on the attached screenshot).

Are you using the Watermark or the Flash preset? You can check in Settings -> FV Player Pro -> DRM Text->Preset. Perhaps you expected the always visible watermark, but accidentally have the Flash preset on.
The Flash preset is pretty hard to notice by naked eye unless you know what you’re looking for. It’s really just random brief flashes that are meant to be hard to see and much harder to delete from captured footage.
Try the watermark preset and see, if it works the way you wanted.

If you have switched to Pro pack and still experience this issues, please let us know, if you are using any mimify or caching plugins. If so, clear cache and see, if that helps.
If none of these help, please check, if wp-admin -> Settings -> FV Player Pro -> Check Template reports any issues.

It seems that any kind of interaction with the timeline or volume controls sets both to the very top/end.
Based on this experience, it seems that this might be a plugin interference. Can you go over your plugin list and test each one to see, if it may be causing the issues?

There is a setting to ensure that videos are being buffered before playback starts. Please, make sure you have the Settings -> FV Player -> Sitewide Fv Player Defaults -> Auto Buffering setting enabled.
Other than that, loading speed most often depends on your hosting and serving solutions, as well as the internet speed of the viewer.
Where are you hosting your videos? Are you using a CDN to go along with it?

your issue is slightly different. As Martin pointed out a few comments ago: “FV Player always uses it’s splash image as the Featured Image if there is none. We believe each post should really have the Featured Image.”
There was a setting to disable this in the past, but it was recently removed. It seems you’ve had it disabled in the past, but it became automatic in the last update. I’ll let Martin know about it and we’ll discuss returning the setting.

There were some changes to FV Player Coconut recently and we’ve gotten a similar report. Are you uploading to Coconut via the shortcode editor or via the Coconut Jobs screen?
First, please update FV Player Coconut to the newest version: FV Player Coconut 7.5.23.728 (It’s only been out for an hour now)

thank you for reporting your experience with Beaver builder and FV Player. We are currently aware of the Add button in FV Player widget not working. We will fix it shortly.
In the meantime, creating or grabbing a shortcode from FV Player -> Videos/Playlist that is in the form of [[fvplayer id="number"]] should work just fine with Beaver Builder.
Beaver Builder is one of the builders that do require to have the “Load FV Flowplayer JS everywhere” setting enable in order to work.
As for the Bunny Stream video, when you click on the “Admin: Video OK” message, does it report anything significant? You can paste it in here. It might help us understand what is happening better.

If you are looking for the cheapest way to encrypt videos, then FV Player Coconut is the right choice for you. If encoding the videos is enough for you, Bunny Stream does it cheaper. Sadly, Bunny Stream does not support DRM encryption on 3-rd party players.

The key you have suggested works well too, although only when using the Stream Loader feature alongside it.
