I have added a custom popup on pause. I want the viewer to be able to click on the background to continue watching the video.
How do I make the pause background clickable?

actually the issue is that the popup covers the full player area.
You can make it smaller using a CSS like this: https://foliovision.com/player/faq/css-tips-and-fixes#popup-size

Yes, it works fine with FV Player 8.
In the “Allowing popup background to resume the video” CSS tweak there’s a list of elements that should accept clicks:

In that case you need the rule to include
iframe,imgandvideo.Or perhaps there’s some common DIV element which you ad script uses and you can use that.
