Good evening, we are using FV Player Pro with encrypted HLS streaming.
Today I experience problems playing our videos on Firefox (on Windows), “Javascript broken?”, see screenshot. Google Chrome plays the videos without problems.
Is something changed?
I have all WordPress plugins updated, using Firefox 104.0.1,

it plays in Google, not in Firefox, like all the videos on this site.I installed a new plugin (WP Code-PHP Snippets) but only later than the problem showed up.

do you run into that issue on your test page when you try with a private window in Firefox?
The issue might be related to what happens your website when you are logged in as admin. To diagnose it please do a right click on your webpage in Firefox and choose “Inspect”. Then select “Console” in the new panel and reload the page. See if any errors appear.

Thank you for the hint to try out private window.
Private window in Firefox: better than being logged in as admin, but far from ‘working’: Firefox complains that a script is slowing it down, scrubbing (moving around in the video) does not work.
No error messages in the browser console.Google Chrome: Works, cannot break the script even with wild jumping back and forth.
The test page given above does not need logging in.

please deactivate and delete the FV Player Pro plugin you are using, then hit “Install Pro extension” at the top of the wp-admin -> Settings -> FV Player screen.
That will reinstall the Pro plugin and will give you the fixed version.
Please let us know if you still run into any issue. I’m not sure if this will fix your issue when you are logged in Firefox – if not we will need that browser console output.
