Hi, I want to use lightboxes to display some videos but when Youtube is the source for some unknown reason the video keeps playing after exiting the lightbox, I’ve recorded a video comparing one video with Youtube source and another from an S3 Bucket: https://www.loom.com/share/c49308052f6f4631a797c9f98067b338
Unfortunately the PC can’t record audio but you can see in the browser tab the sound icon being displayed.

I’ve checked your video and can confirm that I run into the very same issue. However, I’ve tested YouTube videos with lightbox on a different website and could not reproduce the issue.
Therefore, this seems as a possible plugin or theme conflict.
Could you try changing the theme (using the preview theme mode should suffice)? Let us know, if the issue prevails.If it does, try going down the list of your enabled plugins and disabling them one by one to pinpoint which one may be causing the issue.

Hi Mária, I’ve tried with all plugins deactivated except fvplayer and CPT UI, and with twenty twenty-one as theme but the issue persists. I’ve also tried changing the Youtube video (the source video was a short before) to another one but nothing.

you are using FV Player Pro 7.5.23 while the latest version is 7.5.27.
Please try to upgrade, it might fix the issue for you.
If it does not help, then please provide a test page that works without a login.

please deactivate and delete the FV Player Pro plugin you are using, then hit “Install Pro extension” at the top of the wp-admin -> Settings -> FV Player screen.
That will reinstall the Pro plugin and will give you the fixed version.
I noticed you are not using the latest version, we should check that with you as one of the first things.
