It appears the FV Player is not responsive on mobile devices (at least on my site) for some reason.
If you could please have a look at this representative page: https://mediapower.ca/our-services/digital-video-for-businesses-and-professionals/corporate-video/ or any of the other pages in the “digital video” section you can see what I mean.
Your advice would be much appreciated.

Hello Pesi,
I’ve tested your videos on several devices and I confirm that the player is not responding properly. It only happens on your site.
It seems that any kind of interaction with the timeline or volume controls sets both to the very top/end.
Based on this experience, it seems that this might be a plugin interference. Can you go over your plugin list and test each one to see, if it may be causing the issues?

I deactivated every single plugin except for FV Player from my site with no success.
The videos are still not responsive on a mobile device.

I also embedded the fv player shortcode on a test page which is full width (no sidebar) and also not in any table – I thiught that may be the issue see: https://mediapower.ca/videotestpage/ but it is still not responsive.

Maria – I believe it is something to do with the theme – CatchResponsive Pro (?)
I changed the theme temporarily to Twenty-Twenty-Two and the video was responsive. Is this something to do with how FV Player interacts with the theme?
I tried other themes as well and it works fine on them all.
I have let the CatchResponsive Theme developers know of the problem.

thank you for reporting the issue and for letting the theme developers know too. Pointing you to try the theme should have been the first step I suggested.

Hi Maria – it was partially an issue with the custom CSS code, but more importantly it was because the FV Player was embedded into a table cell.
When I got rid of the table and used CSS colums instead, the problem was resolved.
