Older mobile devices don’t allow any kind of autoplay. Modern mobile devices do allow autoplay only if the audio is muted. Now desktop browsers such as Safari ( from version 11 upwards) or Chrome (version 66 and beyond) are bringing the same policy to desktop computers.
With FV Player 7 the muted autoplay is supported – if the video fails to autoplay with sound, it tries again with muted sound.
With FV Player 8 only a video which is in the viewport is allowed to autoplay.
