I’m on FV Player Pro 0.7.12 but don’t see an update button.
Same thing here. I have not made any changes but get this message when video is played.
PLEASE RELOAD THE PAGE AND TRY AGAIN IN A COUPLE OF MINUTES.
VIDEO CAN’T BE PLAYED BECAUSE OF ITS PRIVACY SETTINGS. PLEASE ALLOW YOU SITE DOMAIN TO EMBED THE VIDEO IN ITS SETTINGS.
I should have clarified that I have fv player on two sites. That video is on my other site which I did not update the player on yet. I went ahead and restored the data/files on my site to 2 days ago which seems to have fixed the logo issue. I did click to insure FV Player PRO was active when I did the update though. Thanks.
Now that I have reverted back to the previous version, my watermark logo is gone. I loaded my logo but it still says fv flowplayer.
I just updated to FV Player Pro 0.7.26 and all my videos that had already been loaded in the previous version were not using the player. Am I going to need to go back and reload all the videos to use this update? In the meantime I just reverted back to the previous version.
Here is just a random video but it’s not specific to just this one. Also the issue seems to be a intermittent. Some ads play right away and some sort of freeze.
I have not used VAST for a while now. These are custom ads.
Strange, I have been using Opinion Stage for a while with no issues but I think that worked. Man I have been freaking out and really appreciate that you got this figured out within 24 hours. I will let you know if I run into issues.
Correction, using backup files did not fix it.
Just an update went to my back up files to reset the files and database a couple of days back and it seemed to help. Is it possible that I was hacked and perhaps they put in some sort malicious code?
Scroll Autoplay is off. I only turned that on yesterday in an effort to get these videos to play. I am still having the issue. Again, I am looking on Safari, Chrome and directly from Twitter/Facebook. I have been able to get the videos to play from Chrome on my iPhone as well as the browser on my TV. I am getting a lot of emails about this and need to find a solution soon. It seemed to start when I created this video (link below). Not sure if that is relevant.

For some reason the vast=”skip” option is not working for me right now. This is a big issue because we have sold ads directly to several advertisers and essentially use a playlist to run their ad. When the VAST ad does not skip it actually plays a VAST ad, my custom pre-roll, then another VAST ad before the actual content runs. Please advise as soon as you can so my clients don’t get too upset.
Great. I have a test tag for HTML5. I assume once they release the HTML5 tag to me I can run all ads on HTML5 without the need for a mobile specific ad.

Any updates on adding Mobile VAST XML? I have been checking for updates.
Agree Martin/Alec,
I think most of us get that this is a new product. I am willing to deal with a few bugs to start using mobile VAST now. I really like the player so far and think you guys are doing a great job.

Are there any updates with regards to using “Mobile VAST XML” in the settings? Does FV Flowplayer VAST support mobile yet via shortcode?
Here is the URL as well a sample of the shortcode I used. I used fake links in the shortcode below but wanted to show what format I am using. You can see I am using a playlist with splash image. The VAST ad is running before both videos and I need VAST to skip on both in playlist.

Martin, is there an update for the vast=”skip” on the entire playlist? I have two direct advertisers lined up and can’t move forward until it’s resolved.
So that shortcode works when it is just one video. I took out the embed=, autoplay=, etc. and it worked. I think the problem is coming into play when I add a playlist. It will skip the first video (which is my own ad not VAST) and play VAST on the second video. Here is an example of the new shortcode I entered. If there is not a solution to this yet it’s OK, but I will let my direct advertisers know.

That worked perfectly. Sorry to ask so many questions, but it seems that the VAST ads are playing on all FV Flowplayer videos even if I have not added the tag into the shortcode. Is there a way to not have a VAST ad on certain videos. I did not see that in the user guide, unless I missed it.

I just want to verify before purchasing that the VAST player works specifically with YuMe in HTML5. If it does, I am really excited for finding this product.
Lucia – does that work with this current plugin for VAST ads? Do you offer any setup support for a novice?
