Kill this ticket please. I found the problem. It was a config issue with Cloudfront. It wasn’t set up properly, and they recently changed and reinforced their policies. So I had to reconfigure a bit. You guys are fine.
5 days ago in reply to: Video File Not Found Error using S3Checking your docs, I see that YOUR JAVASCRIPT is throwing an error.

5 days ago in reply to: Video File Not Found Error using S3Now the videos are showing a javascript warning, they weren’t before. As well as according to the ADMIN checker in the upper left corner, the videos appear ok. I’ve checked the pack, and video checker they come up just fine. No issues.
What’s going on here ????
4 years ago in reply to: File Not Found with ChromeMartin,
Thanks for the reminder about the dev tools. I already knew about them and went to them first but clearly didn’t go deep enough because now I’m seeing the issue: I’m getting a 403 error. That means there’s a permissions error somewhere in the chain. However, why would the video play at all in incognito mode if there were a permissions error ?
Just for giggles while I was writing this, I ran an incognito mode window and ran this link (https://tangotopics.com/five-lead-errors/) and I’m still getting a 403 Error.
Can you confirm that you’re seeing the same thing ?
So there’s clearly a permissions error somewhere in the chain.
Any ideas ?
4 years ago in reply to: File Not Found with ChromeI tried these as well, WITHOUT being logged in….

https://tangotopics.com/tango-noise/And that’s just for starters….
oh and https://tangotopics.com/handpressyarm/
Doesn’t work for me either.
Not to get persnickity but what on earth are you seeing that I’m NOT!!?!?!?!??!??!
I tried them from the Incognito mode, and it works just fine. Something is seriously amiss because that should work, no matter what.
4 years ago in reply to: File Not Found with ChromeHi Martin,
After updating to the latest version of both WP and FV, I am having the SAME issue as described above. And yes I have the admin checker enabled, and it showing the same error primary error msg as above “File Not Found, Please Reload the Page…”, but it’s not showing me the detailed one below that (the screen shot).
Something is amiss on two levels.
Chrome will not play the videos.
Safari, FireFox, and Edge play them, Chrome does not.
5 years ago in reply to: File Not Found with Chrome5 years ago in reply to: File Not Found with Chrome5 years ago in reply to: BLACK BAR on all my videos!!!This is a bit round about but I’ll see if I can explain something that just occurred which may explain or help to explain the issue.
In order to meet your probable request to see the site, I had to set up my staging server and make it accessible to you. I am running All-In-One-Migration, which is the best thing since sliced bread which allowed me to pull from my live server, then down to my development server (to turn off a few things so that they don’t interfere with anything else), and then back up to the staging server.
When I ran a page with a video on it, the video loaded, WITHOUT the black bars!!!! That would seem to indicate that there’s a plugin conflict somewhere.
And I think I know the culprit -> W3 Total Cache!
Even though I have cleared the cache on the live server, even though i have set it to allow for your app. Something is clearly not responding.
I’m not seeing any JS errors, but clearly there are some. I’ll have to wait until later on tonight to run a test on the live server to see if it’s throwing errors.
7 years ago in reply to: Logged Out User Can't Play Videomemberpress. the issue is with their MemberPress Math CAPTCHA plugin.
7 years ago in reply to: Logged Out User Can't Play VideoEduard,
Figured it out. It’s not you guys, it’s the membership plugin I’m using. There’s an error with one of their functions.

8 years ago in reply to: Pre-Roll Broke My Video.I tried your suggestion of adding the preroll, then switching themes through the appearance selector…hey! cool idea, thanks.
Ummmm…same problem. It quite literally breaks the page, each and every time.
So now that it’s not the theme, and with all the other plugins turned off – It’s your plugin.
Here’s screencap I made of the issue…so that we’re absolutely clear what’s going on:

Your move. :-)
8 years ago in reply to: Pre-Roll Broke My Video.Sorry, I dropped the ball. I’m getting close to launch.
Type of Browser, Safari, Chrome, and Firefox. I tested all 3 before I emailed you folks just to be on the safe side that it wasn’t a browser or caching issue. It’s not.
Type of video, a youtube video. however, I also tried a cloudfront video as well.
As a side note, I also disabled all the other plugins I’m running to see if it was a plugin conflict. Nope. It’s not, it’s your plugin. Now there’s one thing that I haven’t tried and to be honest with you I can’t because I’m close to launch, and that’s a theme change. It may be the theme that I’m using, something in there may be setting off your plugin….
No matter, I turn on pre-roll, and all the video on the site disappears. Poof.
Miles.
