I can confirm FV Player 7.5.27 works great!
    Thank you

It says I can no longer insert videos without above error popping up. Tried with multiple channels/videos.

    Thank you Mária

The method you showed me works wonderfully!
Comparing Vimeo Vs Rumble. Rumble WINS HANDS DOWN, videos load in half the time compared to Vimeo.
Also using Odysee which is pretty good since their network upgrade. It’s a similar experience to Vimeo right now.

    Hey Martin

    Thats great news.

More than happy to test. Are you able to enable a temporary (7 day) license so I don’t have to test this on my main website?
I can’t really afford any down time on the main site if the player has issues etc.

    Many thanks

Especially looking forward to Odysee and Rumble support.

    hi
is it possible to add other players such as odysee and brandnewtube.com ?
    or any others?

    thanks”

    Hey Alec

Any update on odysee or perhaps rumble?

Not really a huge issue for me anymore as I just embed their players instead and they run flawlessly. However it would be nice to be able to use FV player considering it has additional features that could be leveraged etc.

I don’t care to advertise FV player any longer as per our discussion last year, due to lack of follow up on requests for updates. However it sounds like some of your other customers also want the feature.

Hopefully something can be released before long.

    rhys

    Hi Alec

I’m already on wordpress & LBRY.tv and I have been using FV player in combination with vimeo for years.

What I actually want to be able to do, is use LBRY as my video host with FVplayer on wordpress instead of vimeo.
Vimeo is not censorship resistant, and it’s expensive, while LBRY would be free and it’s open source.

This is why I thought LBRY hosting support would add value FVplayer for it’s users.
I’ve been very happy with FVplayer, so I figured this option is probably better for FVplayer and it’s users, rather than release a LBRY player on wordpress that competes with FVplayer.

Ok thank you Juraj, I passed that on to LBRY.

    rhys

    Hi Juraj

Is there someone specific it can be addressed to, who can make decisions about collaborating with LBRY to add support?
I’m not sure if you are familiar with LBRY, but if FV player can add LBRY support then it means FV player & LBRY users won’t need to pay for vimeo etc for video hosting.

Below is LBRY’s website if you want to check it out.

Also the video seems to play ok on Dissenter?

    Hi Martin

No it’s a regular upload, anyone can see or share the video.

    Hi Martin

I have sharing disabled by default in FVplayer settings as use a different plugin to share posts etc.

    Hi Martin

I tested it out, it worked at first on Brave until I an edited the post and changed a video link (changed link to different Bitchute video) but now says video cannot be found. Still seems to be working on Dissenter but never worked on Safari.

Below is a link to the test post.

And below a video showing the issues I had.

    Hey Martin

Really glad to here about Bitchute. One thing about Bitchute though is it’s currently limited to 360p.

Have you looked into integrating LBRY.tv as it seems to be getting a lot of traction lately.
It supports high res video, and is ‘very’ decentralized and as a platform seems to be growing quickly. I like the fact I can ‘seed’ or host my own content via the app.
I can already use their player using iframes, but you guys make the best player out-there imo, so would love to see you integrate them also.

6 years ago in reply to: Upgraded to 7.4.8.727 from 7.4.6.727 Now Javascript error.
    rhys

I’m unable to do that as I downgraded to previous version as soon as I realised the player stopped working correctly. Couldn’t afford for my site to effectively be down for so long.

6 years ago in reply to: Vimeo hosting HTML5: Video file not found. Can‘t parse the request.
    rhys

I have changed most of the videos to links that are locally hosted files.
However below is a link to a vimeo video that isn’t working.
    https://bombardsbodylanguage.com/2019/02/11/body-language-aocs-adviser-green-new-deal-on-tucker-carlson/

Ideally I’d like to host on vimeo rather than webhost.

I replaced the vimeo hosting link to a link on a self hosted website and the player works. It seems to be an issue when trying to play vimeo files.

Below is a link to a vimeo hosted video that shows the error message.

Has this been officially released yet as I have a similar issue. No thumbs showing on playlist, for locally hosted video. Pro user.

    @Reginald A.

Decentralised IPFS (Bitchute/Bitube) is the silver bullet.
REAL.video has to deal will huge transcoding/bandwidth costs.
I like the platform, but an IPFS solution is much more cost-effective and censorship-resistant.

Please please please implement this.. I’ll even post a free ad for FVplayer on my youtube channel for you guys!

7 years ago in reply to: Can we keep the existing skin, instead of the 3 new ones in beta release?
    rhys

I haven’t upgraded to 7 yet, is there any update on if it’s still possible to use the skin from version 6?

7 years ago in reply to: Bitchute, OK.ru and Odysee
    rhys

Oh and by the way, the forum doesn’t let me login.. it downloads a PNG file when I click login.

7 years ago in reply to: Bitchute, OK.ru and Odysee
    rhys

Considering Article 13 of the new EU Law, we need this.
We probably won’t be able to reliably use you etc.

It’s not just Bitchute, but https://bit.tube used the same decentralised technology. It’s ipfs video streaming I believe.

Please please please incorporate this, it would also mean people wouldn’t have to use Vimeo either and can save costs.

7 years ago in reply to: Is there anyway to embed a video to Patreon? I have FV pro
    rhys

    Hi Lucia

I would like to embed video to Patreon from external source.
For instance I would like to embed the below video on my Patreon account, and the video is hosted on my site.
