No sound in Safari

Hello,

I’m testing FV player at: atp-packaging.com
It works correctly in:

MAC
Chrome
Firefox

WIN
Chrome
Firefox

but without sound:

MAC
Safari

IOS
(safari, chrome) Ipad (9.3.5)

Does not play video

IOS
(safari, chrome) Iphone (10.1.1)
With another player working properly

Hello ATP,

I checked your video and it seems that the problem is in the audio encoding of the source file. It seems like you used Handbrake to encode the video, but you probably forgot to set AAC in the audio tab and left the Auto Passthrough setting (it’s also mentioned in our encoding guide. Just re-encode the video with the correct audio settings and it should work.

Thank you for bringing this up, because it revealed an issue in our Video Checker, as it didn’t reveal the problem.

Perfect, the audio problem is solved, thank you very much.
Any solution to be able to watch the video on the Iphone?

Perfect, now works correctly. But still does not play the video from the phone…

Hello ATP,

It seems that the Widgetkit is using MediaElement, that causes a compatibility issue with our player. To fix this, you can try the process described in this guide Incompatible Plugins and Scripts, under the part WPLMS Theme (Vibe Course Module plugin).

Fixing the plugin yourself, however, might cause other problems, so I would recommend asking the plugin author for assistance on how to proceed with the MediaElement.
