I want to remove the thin progress bar that sits below the video player – it even shows in full screen which is strange.
In fact why is it needed? When a video is playing there should be no other distractions – especially this.
Help appreciated.

you can do so by putting a CSS declaration like this into your template stylesheet:
#content .flowplayer.is-mouseout .fp-timeline { height: 0px }You may need to adjust the #content part of it to match the div wrapper of your template, but 95% of WordPress templates use this ID.

Setting the “height” should really work, but you must make sure it’s not overruled by some other rule, while there seems to be no other rule for “display”, so perhaps that’s why it works for you.

I may have try to set the height or do something because the bottom border does not show – probably due to the progress bar. I like a border.
Still baffled why you make don’t make this progress bar an option. Does anyone like this being there?
Will just chime in on this as well – will code to remove it – but would make for a great option?

do you want to remove the controlbar? In that case try adding this to the shortcode:
controlbar=”no”
If you want to get rid of the timeline, you can try:
live=”true”
The “live” attribute can also be used from within the shortcode editor once enabled in FV WordPress Flowplayer -> Post Interface Options

If you are talking about FV Player you can easily remove it in settings > post interface options > control bar.
