    Weird I don’t see the pro option.
    I think they change their pricing structure and names.

    We have over 1000 videos so migration is probably not feasible. So to be clear all I would need to do is setup a new api key using the settings detailed above?

    Can you let me know when it’s up?

    Is there a page in the documentation that contains a list of functions the fvplayer allows to load it.

    5 years ago in reply to: Missing Splash Screen

    Is there another function I am maybe missing.

    Ran

    Look like that works thank you.

    something like this works for Ajax Load More plugin

    <script>
    window.almComplete = function(alm){
    	fv_player_load();
    };
    </script>

    That is one of the things I tried. I notice if I add a video outside the ajax content on the page it loads fine with out the Admin Javascript Warning. As soon as I press play on this video all the other videos within the ajax content load to play. I check the files and the javascript files seem to be loading.

    It looks like it may have just been a cache issue. It is working

    I am noticing the demo page https://foliovision.com/player/demos/hls-stream gets the “html5: Video not properly encoded” Does fvplayer not support Safari.

    I have those enabled already. I do notice an error now that says html5: Video not properly encoded when I use cross browser testing app to view on safari.

    this was the last message
    There were 101 API errors, last one from 2018-12-19 13:25:36

    Haven’t seen any more since early morning of the 20th so what ever it was must of fixed itself,

    6 years ago in reply to: Load Video in ADs lightbox

    Could this also be happening because videos are not being cached. In the fvplayer pro panel I am noticing the number of cache videos changes wildy sometimes its up to 30 etc then it goes back to 0 videos cached

    6 years ago in reply to: Load Video in ADs lightbox

    Yes actually alot of them don’t have the splash screen we added about 18 videos over the course of a day late last week. But I am guessing like you say that only gets splash screen and video duration so that wouldn’t affect the videos in that APP url? I will email the app dev Mobiloud about it again
    Thank you

    That vimeo error may also be what is causing videos in our app not to work at https://ewnews.com/ml-api/v1/post?post_id=20843

    6 years ago in reply to: Load Video in ADs lightbox

    It shouldn’t contain any special chars. Not sure what I did to fix it but it appears to be working now and all videos are loading, the error is gone. It was that same page https://goo.gl/FLWoSR that was giving that error. Another thing I have noticed I have been getting alot randomly is wordpress panel. “FV Player Pro: Your Vimeo access token appears to be invalid, please fix it to ensure your videos keep working: Too many API requests. Wait an hour or so, then try again” That seems to go away after a while but reappears after a time.

    My workaround seems to work. I load a hidden video on the page to get videos to load in my popup. However I get a Javascript error on videos that tells me to check template function which says everything is good if I use it. https://goo.gl/FLWoSR It seems to only happen on a few recent videos. I am not sure if had something to do with recent fv player update I made or if just adding that hidden video to page could cause this error.

    The error I am seeing in console also seems like it has something to do with it.

    I found a work around

    7 years ago in reply to: Load Video in ADs lightbox

    Is there a way to add the direct link to the video into the iframe code for example
    <iframe src=”{{VIMEOLINK}}/fvp” allowfullscreen width=”848″ height=”479.67088607594934″ frameborder=”0″ style=”max-width:100%”></iframe> or a way to get the iframe code to a video without have to create a post then copy the embed code from it.

    An example is this page with popup https://goo.gl/U9QUUJ something is stopping the video from loading in the popup when using the fv shortcode. It would work with the iframe code but I will have to create create a page each time to copy the iframe code.

    I see some errors in console looks like missing files. Though I have load fvplayer js everywhere option checked in settings. That test link above would work however if I were to add a video into the content of the page like you normally would using wordpress editor.

    I have tried that. It downloads the pro version and says Success on the button but then switches back to the yellow Enable the Pro Extension button

    7 years ago in reply to: Video Ad setting not saving
    Ran

    We switched from godaddy to dreamhost and it is working now. Not sure what it was that was blocking it on their end. One thing I’m curious about is there anyway to stop the video from autoplaying in the settings menu if you have sitewide autoplay on. If not thats fine.

    7 years ago in reply to: Video Ad setting not saving

    Any idea on what could cause the issue in the above post?

    7 years ago in reply to: Video Ad setting not saving

    Thanks, removing that jquery link has the videos playing now. About the video ad. It will not save with that amazon link. What I have found is if I add more video ads and have the hosted video as the last video ad in the list it will save properly. However if I have that amazon link, vimeo or youtube as last ad in list it will not save. Its pretty weird. I was using latest version of chrome on windows 10 using edge produced same result.

    I just tested with multiple random videos, youtube, vimeo and hosted and none seems to load. I used one of the example short codes
    [fvplayer src="https://youtu.be/7uY0Ab5HlZ0" splash="https://i.ytimg.com/vi/7uY0Ab5HlZ0/hqdefault.jpg" caption="Toronto Vacation Travel Guide | Expedia"] and it seems to just load the spash screen goo.gl/Gf6eZ5

    7 years ago in reply to: Video Ad setting not saving

    It will save with simple words and numbers or if I just have the name field filled and everything else empty.
    The url seems to stay the same it just redirects to the page in the screenshot
    http://mydomain.com/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=fvplayer#postbox-container-tab_video_ads
    Its same result with javascript disabled.

    I don’t see any php errors in the logs for today or any since install that seem related to that.
    I just noticed that it saves with videos hosted directly on server.
    http://mydomain.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/WhatsApp-Video-2018-01-21-at-11.56.05-AM-1-1.mp4
    I thought it could use youtube or vimeo video as ads too.

    Maybe I should try to reinstall?
