Hello, I can’t seem to get a FV Player with a live stream to work in Safari on mac it will work with regular vimeo videos. But not this live stream https://bit.ly/2UcEPes the actual live stream link is https://hi.duok5.tv:22443/iltv/ntsc/index.m3u8
The video just seems to be blank. Is there some setting I am missing. I have hls active. Any help is appreciated. Maybe it is something with the stream itself.

Hello Ran,
please enable “Live stream” in Settings -> FV Player -> Post Interface Options to be able to mark the stream as live with the FV Player Editor.
Perhaps we should be showing that checkbox automatically if we see you are inserting an m3u8 stream.

MartinI have those enabled already. I do notice an error now that says html5: Video not properly encoded when I use cross browser testing app to view on safari.
I am noticing the demo page https://foliovision.com/player/demos/hls-stream gets the “html5: Video not properly encoded” Does fvplayer not support Safari.
Hello Ran,
there are no known issues with Safari. I tested https://foliovision.com/player/demos/hls-stream and https://bit.ly/2UcEPes on Safari 12.0 and 11.1.2 and it was playing perfectly fine.
Please let us know what Safari version you use on what operatin system. Or is that your cross browser testing app? Are you sure it’s emmulating Safari properly?
