Imagine, my theme (‘Jupiter’ by artbees) finally updated the included FancyBox library, so FV Player 7 seems to work fine, Yeeey!

What do you mean my license key is correct? I purchased the FV Player license several times and currently there is no active license due to the player’s version 7.x not being compatible with my theme, but I still own the license for the installed version, I guess. Last time I purchased the license but I wasn’t able to install a single version during the half year.
Hi, I have a similar problem on my website.
My site runs the theme Jupiter that causes the conflict with FancyBox
The flowplayer watermark appears once you pause the video and then it stays there.
On some occasions, while logged in, it also appears right after clicking play, while the video takes time to load and begin playing.

I tested, maybe if I deactivate the theme script minifying, the theme won’t bundle the fancyBox script. Are you saying that FV Player could/should/would be able to remove it in this case? (the lightbox didn’t work) Is there a setting I need to enable for that?
Anyway, thanks. I presume you won’t roll back to fancyBox v2 just for me :)

I wrote Artbees, the developer company of the Jupiter theme to inquire whether they are planning to update the script in question.

On my test site I checked the ‘Remove FancyBox’ setting, everything else under ‘Compatibility’ is unchecked. It’s the same result if I check ‘Load FV Flowplayer JS everywhere’.
The sound of the video plays but no lightbox appears. The console still reports ‘fancyBox already initialized’.I am using the theme’s lightbox for photo galleries, so disabling the script would not work for me. I am thinking however, maybe it’s possible to skip loading the FV Player FancyBox script, but still use it.

Today I tried to update my FV PLayer to the last version to check whether the FancyBox incompatibility between your player and the popular Jupiter theme, which uses this lightbox, had been resolved. Sadly, the lightbox feature of FV Player doesn’t work in an updated Jupiter installation.

In my first post I mentioned some of the FVPlayer Pro settings. Among them the fact that the ajax setting is “ON”.
So why isn’t it working?
Also, I didn’t understand your reply related to the second part of the issue – whether there was anything I could do to improve the situation.

Alas, it happens in every browser installed on my machine.
Since I have set 55 minutes for expiration, I guess it happens after that.
However the time is not my concern. I’ve set the expiration time so high to see less of this issue.I think the player should, – if the link expired – just ask for a new link, instead of showing this error message. Also, I should not need to refresh the entire page if the link expired. The player has the amazon key. It can make a new request from the server without the user manually refreshing the page.
To replicate the issue, please open the URL in 2 tabs. In the first tab start playback then pause. Check in an hour if you can resume playback. Also click in various places along the timeline to bypass cache.
Leave the second tab open for an hour then attempt playback of a video. Sometimes playback starts for about a second, then the error message appears.
