    Sounds great.
    Thank you Martin.

    Hi Martin.

the first solution is to modify m3u8 files, which is burdensome.

My second solution is not elegant, since I am not a programmer. But it works temporarily. You directed me to a fv_player_drm_stream_loader_output filter and I ended up modifying the decryption_key_subdomains function. Since the domains are different I reversed the comparison logic. Check the picture.

A permanent solution for domain transfers would be a great thing. Also, I see no possibility to remove that old domain from the licenses list in my account on your web-site, only a change against a new one. I didn’t understand that, so I ended up using 2 licenses.

    Hi Martin.

Yes, its a completely different TLD.
As for the m3u8 files – I just tried to modify on one video.
Does this mean I need to re-encrypt via Coconut all those videos or is there a simpler solution?

    Hi Martin,

    You’re welcome.
I’ve re-installed the Pro plugin and everything is working again.
Thank you for the quick fix.

    Hi Martin,

I run the tests again and yes, there was a 403 error. Looks like the referrer, which must be the domain or include the domain is not being set in the first request. The referrer is being set for subsequent requests correctly. See pictures

    Hi.

I was unable to fix the same issue. My setup has the latest updates, but the issue persists:
    FV Player version: 7.5.32.7212
    FV Player core version: 7.2.12.1
    FV Player Pro version: 7.5.34.7212
    WordPress Version: 6.2

    PHP Version: 8.0.28
    MySQL Version: 10.3.38
    Web Server Info: LiteSpeed

Switching to BETA, disabling Speed-up (beta) and clearing cache didn’t help either.
My server is behind Cloudflare WAF and the setting is on. BunnyCDN+DigitalOcean for encrypted files

Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

    Regards, Dimitiri

3 years ago in reply to: DRM text random position and size option
    Dimitrii

    Hi Martin.

Thank you for fixing this. I have tested the new Beta. I see a randomized algorithm, but it is still using corners only. As I stated before, I can easily blur those corners a little, where no significant information appears.
I even found a possibility to minimize or even completely remove DRM text footprint from videos without even using blurring after using a screen recorder software.
I will contact you directly via email and send you a sample.

    Dimitrii

    Hi Maria,

    thank you for your reply.
Timing is not my main concern. Position randomization is a much more powerful tool. Generally speaking, if a video is not a high quality piece of art, but rather a technical or informational one, then randomized DRM would only help to prevent pirates from recording it. We create learning videos, where the whole action takes place mainly in the center. I can easily blur some irrelevant parts of our videos, without impairing the whole information flow.
I would suggest it as an switchable option along with a timer randomization.

    Hi Martin,

that’s a great news. Thank you for adding this feature so fast and it makes video watermarking very flexible from video to video.

    Hi Martin,

I don’t see that error anymore. That is very good.
The error with Check template button is caused by the maintenance plugin. I assume that’s because FV player scripts are not being loaded and they because of that plugin. No error message if that plugin is set to off.

Yes, it sounds great. Opacity value change is probably a good solution with a preview (as I said before, looks good on dark BG). I would also like to add, that a global value could be also important, because changing existing settings for a large amount of videos would be very much time consuming. Plus, if most of the videos come with the same BG color, like we use same video footage templates with white BG,
changing opacity per video is not necessary. One setting would be fine for all videos. What I am trying to say is:
    if ( perVideoDrmTxtOpacity == false )
    flvplayer[128]->DrmTxtOpacity = DRMGlobalSetting;

    Hi Martin,

Probably, I had to create a new topic, because it is not quite the same issue.
I see Admin JavaScript warning message only when I add a player with Elementor as a text underneath, but not always. The resulting player does not show such message, so I assume it is fine.
The web-site itself has a maintenance plugin switched on, i.e. only registered users and admins are able to login and see it’s content.
The message screenshot I posted http://e.pc.cd/ocjotalK and concerns only Check template button.

    Hi Martin.

I use Flash variant for DRM. Current color setting is fine for darker backgrounds but quite pronounced on white backgrounds. Flashing is quite visible.

    Hello.

    I have a similar issue.
    http://e.pc.cd/ocjotalK
I use a child theme, but copied both files footer.php and header.php tp the child directory. both footer.php and header.php contain wp_ commands as required.
    all videos work properly.

After spending almost 3 days on this issue, I finally figured out, what is causing the problem I am facing. It is actually bugs in your coconut player.
I need to contact you directly, because I don’t want to place sensitive information about my domains here, because, unfortunately, there no option for hiding private stuff visible only to support members in this forum. That would be nice and modern.
Let me know how to contact you directly.

4 years ago in reply to: Issue setting up Coconut+DigitalOcean
    Dimitrii

    this is an update:

I set up a staging site, disabled all plugins, disabled Cloudflare for this site and run coconut player wizard again, but same issue came up again.
I see no php or nginx error messages indicating an issue.

4 years ago in reply to: Issue setting up Coconut+DigitalOcean

    Hi Martin.

I see no such button under wp-admin -> FV Player -> Coconut. Only a diagram and 4 buttons, non of them to show logs. (see attachment)

Another sub-question. The screen says – As a FV Player Pro user you also need BunnyCDN. Will it conflict anyhow with Cloudflare?
We use Cloudlare WAF and CDN, can this be an issue?
