Hi.
I would like to change DRM text color in order to make more transparent, i.e. more invisible, because grey text strikes the eye.
Is there any way achieve this? I see no color options for DRM text right now.Regards, Dimitrii

Hello Dimitrii,
I wonder what is the right solution here. I wish there would be a way of calculating the average video color and using some color like that.
Perhaps we need to add a DRM Text Opacity setting on a per video basis. That way you could inspect the brightest parts of the video in the FV Player Editor and input the value which will ensure good visibility in these parts, but at the same time not make it too obvious.
Thanks,
Martin
Yes, it sounds great. Opacity value change is probably a good solution with a preview (as I said before, looks good on dark BG). I would also like to add, that a global value could be also important, because changing existing settings for a large amount of videos would be very much time consuming. Plus, if most of the videos come with the same BG color, like we use same video footage templates with white BG,
changing opacity per video is not necessary. One setting would be fine for all videos. What I am trying to say is:
if ( perVideoDrmTxtOpacity == false )
flvplayer[128]->DrmTxtOpacity = DRMGlobalSetting;

Hello Dimitrii,
we added the global setting for DRM text opacity for the next FV Player Pro Beta version.
To get it right now please reinstall FV Player Pro by deactivating and deleting the FV Player Pro plugin you are using, then hit “Install Pro extension” at the top of the wp-admin -> Settings -> FV Player screen.
Then switch to Beta: https://foliovision.com/player/basic-setup/switching-fv-player-pro-to-beta And you will get a Opacity control in Settings -> FV Player Pro -> DRM Text.
Thanks,
Martin
