Sticky Video player is floating behind all my page content

We enabled Sticky Video in the update of FV Player Pro and it works, however it is appearing behind all the page content. You can see an example of this issue on this page…. http://www.newradiomedia.com/geektainment-page/podquesters/

Hello Alan,

this issue appears if your theme is using z-index in a bad way.

We have a special setting “Alternative iOS fullscreen mode” in Settings -> FV Player Pro -> Mobile Settings which helps with similar issue in fullscreen mode. I think we could use the same approach for the sticky video feature as well, but currently we are quite overloaded with work, so I will ask our CSS designer to describe that z-index issue in detail and perhaps you CSS designer can fix it for you.

Hello Alan,

I’ve briefly checked your site and it appears that z-index values are wrongly applied within the theme.

Main content and the container with the sticky video share the same class .prk_section which has z-index: 1;. The container holding the sticky video should have a higher z-index.

You could try the other way, removing that z-index on the .prk_section element. When I’ve tried that, the video appeared above content. You’d have to check, if it didn’t affect anything else on the site.
