html5.js not found in your template

Hi – Any help would be much very appreciated… I just purchased FV Player Pro, specifically to embed Vimeo videos onto a WordPress website, and have them appear in the FV Player skin. But once configured on the backend I get the “html5.js not found in your template!” error when I click the ‘Check Template’ button, and on the front I get the “html5: Video file not found” error on the video player itself when the video is clicked to play.

PS ~ I did search the forum and saw that other’s had experienced similar problems, but could find a solution posted that solves this specific issue.

Apologies, I meant to say I ‘couldn’t’ find a solution, rather than I ‘could’, in the PS above.

Hello S. S.,

please disregard the html.js warning. It’s no longer relevant as FV Player no longer uses <video> tags. That error message will be removed completely from the next FV Player release.

Regarding the Vimeo issue – please make sure you entered the Vimeo API key: https://foliovision.com/player/video-hosting/how-to-use-vimeo#access-token-setup

Thank you Martin :) that did solve the problem, and I really appreciate you taking the time to point that out to me. Not the cheapest fix in the world, but the results are very good indeed (FV Player Pro + Vimeo Plus).
