Does the plugin support wmv and mov files?

WMV is a proprietary video format by Microsoft and it’s not HTML5 compatible, so it won’t play.

MartinThank you. I tried the wmv and found out it wouldn’t play. On the main page it should it would. Anyone know if a good free flv encodeder that doesn’t leave a logo on it?

if you mean the table here: http://foliovision.com/ – The table says there is a plugin to play WMV on selected browser. I noticed we said it plays in HTML5 on IE9+, so I fixed that.

I don’t know what happened. It says format not supported but I thought it was MP4.

if you upgrade to FV WordPress Flowplayer 2.2.7, you will get the improved error message:
“WMV is not a HMTL5 video format. It might play on some devices, but you need to standardize to MP4!”
