    Hi Samuel,

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    The FV Player displays videos responsively by default. Could you specify to us the issue you’re having, and why you’d like to use the script in your theme, please?

    If your issue is concerned with some of our basic settings, I’d be happy to further assist you with solving it.

    However, if you have any advanced responsive layout demands for the videos on your site which would require work within the theme/code, I’d recommend turning to the Make Your Theme Work with Video support:

    Hi Chiara,

    Thanks for your response.
    I would like put the video on a section of my homepage. The homepage doesn’t display a page or a post content. So I need a script, such as <video …..></video> to display a video.

    Regards,
    Samuel

    Hello Samuel,

    I would recommend you create the FV Player instance on the wp-admin -> FV Player screen. Then copy the shortcode and use it in your page template like this:

    <?php echo do_shortcode('[fvplayer id="1"]'); ?>

    Thanks,
    Martin
