in the list with all the playlsts and their shortcodes (FV Player tab on wordpress backend): How does one change the name of a playlist? I must have missed something, can’t find it anywhere, please help.

You should be able to change playlist name in the FV Player editor. Check attached screenshot.

you can only enter that name if you are editing a playlist.
But we already got a request to improve this – one of our users would like to keep using that field to label his player internaly, without showing that information in front-end. He ended up clicking the button to add another playlist button, that opens the playlist editing mode, where you can fill in that field, and then just saving the player.
So we will come up with some plan.

MartinErm…, I can’t follow you, I am looking at this interface, which looks very different from yours: (see image)
I am just using single videos, no playlists. Or my “playlists” only contain one video.
So still lost here :(
I just need a way to rename these “playlist” for the purpose of internal housekeeping so I know what is what. None of this appears on the front end.

the workaround is that you open a player for editing, which gives you the preview of the single video associated. Then you can click the “Add another video into playlist” button which gives you the playlist editing mode where you can actually enter the player/playlist name.
