Enabling CORS in Amazon S3

Hello,

i’m trying to enable CORS in Amazon S3, as explain here >> https://foliovision.com/player/video-hosting/hls#cors-in-amazon-s3
But when i copy and paste the code, i get the following error message :

The CORS configuration must be written in valid JSON.
API response
Expected params.CORSConfiguration.CORSRules to be an Array

Could you please help ?

Hello Bruno,

thank you for bringing this to our attention!

The code stated in that guide is indeed incorrect. The way to enable CORS headers for S3 has changed from XML to JSON a while back. We put the new correct JSON code in most of our guides, but we seem to have forgot to update this one.

We are sorry about this inconvenience. I updated the code in the guide you linked to the JSON code. Enter the new code into your CORS configuration and it will work correctly.
