convert video shortcode to fvplayer

I have a members site with a lot of videos already using the [video] shortcode. How can I convert them to use fvplayer shortcode? Is this something I can do with a hook or filter?

Hi Rich,

There’s a number of ways to change tags, one of the easiest would be to install the Regex plugin.

Otherwise, I believe we support the simple [video] shortcode by default when FV Flowplayer is installed. Martin will be able to confirm on Monday.

we actually don’t support the standard [video] shortcode, but we should work on adding it as an option.

Hi Martin,

It should be added as an optional extra, turned on by default (i.e. if someone wants to use two video players, they can turn it off, but we’ll assume if they have installed FV Flowplayer they would prefer to use FV Flowplayer).

I just noticed that this was never answered. We added the “Handle WordPress [video] shortcodes” option a long time ago.
