Watermark unable to be removed after upgrade

Hi FV team,

After the new update, the video player has the default ‘FV Flowplayer’ watermark on it and can’t find a way to remove it. I have the pro version of the player.

Hi Michael!

I’m sorry you had issues with the upgrade. There was a glitch with our licensing check in your case. Please remove your license key from Settings -> FV Player (at the top) “$XXXXXXXXXX”, copy it somewhere and just press enter. Then paste it back again and click “Apply Pro upgrade” button to activate the license again. No settings or data will be lost in the process.

Thanks for the help but it didn’t correct the problem. I cleared cache afterwards to no avail.

Hello Michael,

we are sorry about the issue here, but unfortunately Flowplayer forces us to use a new key with each release, so we have to build a fairly complex mechanism for updating the license key on each website. In some cases it fails.

I checked the logs and I can see that your website has received the correct key. So I’m not sure why it’s still using the old one on https://www.afrolandtv.com/thick-skin-trailer/

Please compare the license key which you have on Settings -> FV Player to the one on https://foliovision.com/my-licenses – is it the same?
