I am a basic user and just started dev of page. After reading https://foliovision.com/player/video-hosting/youtube-with-fv-player#automatic-subtitles i made all the steps on free version. For subs creating i was downloading automatic subs and converted it into VTT file.
I cannot see any change to those are displayed (I loaded EN and PL vtt files). i cannot see any your layout CC (like in example) in right down corner, i can see only typical YT icon for CC.

I checked the template test all green. Any idea where can be issue i appreciate. tool seems to perfectly fit my need only it does not work :).
Are the subtitles a pro version or free pls?Thanks

Hello, I contacted my service provided where i host the web, and they also ask for any server reqs.

Ps. “in this case, you will need to contact the plugin provider and ask them to provide further guidelines on it. Also, ask them to check if there is any requirement from the server end for the plugin to function properly.

The steps you’ve made to create the subtitles are correct. However, a FV Player Pro license is needed for a full-featured embedding of the YouTube videos. That will let you use all the player features with it.

If you meant that using subtitles require a pro paid version it would be nice to have it written somewhere. As I am kicking off the project i don’t want to invest yet for something what i could not test in basic functionalities i need. All instructions you provide give an impression i should be able to load external subtitles through your P-in.

The full comparison of Free and Pro features is available here: https://foliovision.com/player/basic-setup/player-pro-features. The subtitles in the free version work with self-hosted videos. For advanced YouTube or Vimeo hosting, however, the Pro version is required (see the bottom section).

Now, it become clearer. A question please, do you offer any return policy in given time, e.g. can I pay for Pro, test it in WP on my web and resign if it does not work? Or i pay for a used time only proportionally?
What plan do you recommend to buy at minimum so it works like this:

The FV Player Pro license will handle your requirement, and more. A Dev-Staging site is included in the license. With the Pro license, you can enjoy all the advanced features, receive updates and technical support during the first year of usage (always free of charge are bugfixes and all help with account, purchase, or license issues).
This is a one-time payment, and the product is yours forever. If you renew the FV Player license before it has expired, you only pay 1/3 of the license price, not many paid WordPress plugins offer such deal. If you choose to not renew FV Player it keeps working, you can keep using your custom logo and the Pro features, but we cannot guarantee everything will keep working in the new browsers (like that time when Chrome stopped video autoplay for first-time visitors) or operating system versions (mainly iOS, Android).
