as an increasing number of agencies seem to start using these “official” macros there literally is no way to avoid serious issues when deploying VAST wrappers, so thank you so much for looking into this!

sorry for the very late response, but I somehow missed the notification for your latest reply (7 months ago :-D)!
I can confirm this kind of works now for us, with only a minor glitch.
Using my sample URL from above, I now get:
https://vast.example.com/vast/1234567/?ref_url=https://www.example.com/article/56878/?s=test/You can see a slash is appended to the URL, which for our use case happens to be a non-issue but might be for others, as the value of “s” is modified from “test” to “test/”.
