9 years ago in reply to: Option to add an error page?
Hi Alec,
For the geo-blocking, I decided to use a plugin called iQ Block Country to handle requests that are coming outside of Thailand. It has a field called “Message to display when people are blocked” and it allows HTML, as well as the option to redirect to another page, or another URL.
I would like to suggest that FV Flowplayer should have a user configurable error page, as a fall back to display instead of the default one. I think you could use the same method as iQ Block Country plugin as I mentioned above for reference. It should be able to have a user configurable option for HTML, or redirect to a page or URL.
cheers,

I want to thank you for the superb support! Everything’s working perfectly now.
FV WordPress Flowplayer Pro is absolutely awesome, and the support is fabulous.
It really is the best WordPress video player hands down. You guys rock!

9 years ago in reply to: iPad no video, only audioHi Martin,
I really appreciate your support to resolve this issue.
I added a channel that isn’t geo restricted that you can try:
I tested the above on my iPad, and the picture did show. Then I changed the channel and the other channel was showing on the iPad as well. After one more channel change, it went back to black screen. Now, http://chumsai.tv/nasa only has sound, and only a black screen. If you click the full screen button, the video shows up.
The video continues to display properly on a computer and iPhone. It seems to only have an issue with iPad.
If I paste the url directly:
http://nasatv-lh.akamaihd.net/i/NASA_101@319270/master.m3u8
It displays correctly in full screen on the iPad.
My theme is using Visual Composer, and I used the FV WordPress Flowplayer to generate the short code on the page:
[vc_row type=”in_container” bg_color=”#000000″ scene_position=”center” text_color=”dark” text_align=”center” top_padding=”0″ overlay_strength=”0.3″][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]<!–Ads2–>
[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text][fvplayer src="http://edge10.psitv.tv:1935/liveedge/315608427629_600/playlist.m3u8" autoplay="true" controlbar="no" live="true" mobile="http://edge10.psitv.tv:1935/liveedge/315608427629_300/playlist.m3u8" splash="http://chumsai.tv/wp-content/uploads/amarin_logo.png"][/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]I’m on iOS 9.2.1 on both my iPad and iPhone.
To reiterate, only the iPad doesn’t display correctly in an embedded screen. Only a black screen with sound. It will display the screen it full screen mode. Is there a way to force full screen on the iPad when the viewer presses “Play?” That seems to be the default behavior on the iPhone.
Kind regards,
Don
