I am using FV Player for streaming live videos that are geo-restricted content. For viewers that are blocked, it shows a pretty ugly error message:
<b>flash: Video file not found</b>
I think it would be a very nice feature to be able to add our own error message, or be able to redirect to another page.

This is the kind of customisation that we encourage clients to add themselves or to engage us to do for them. If the work turns out well, we sometimes then include it in core.
For instance if you know that the person has failed georestrictions, you could take the player away completely and offer them the message of your choice based on their country.
Would you like to engage us to provide the structure to offer a georestricted warning within the player?

For the geo-blocking, I decided to use a plugin called iQ Block Country to handle requests that are coming outside of Thailand. It has a field called “Message to display when people are blocked” and it allows HTML, as well as the option to redirect to another page, or another URL.
I would like to suggest that FV Flowplayer should have a user configurable error page, as a fall back to display instead of the default one. I think you could use the same method as iQ Block Country plugin as I mentioned above for reference. It should be able to have a user configurable option for HTML, or redirect to a page or URL.

Thank you for an additional information. It does look like an interesting suggestion. We will discuss it in team. We have many requests and we have to always choose which one to include to make our player feature rich but still very user friendly.

To be honest, I think this kind of functionality is better managed within WordPress at the page or post level and not at the level of the video itself. Keep in mind FV Player always displays within a page or post (or widget) and not just as a video.
