Thanks Martin. I managed to get it to work on Windows only by holding down the alt key and then hitting enter. On my Mac Mini this key combination did not work, however. Very odd. I can’t imagine what might cause that behaviour.

Thank you. I’m afraid that does not work. I had already tried it, and just to check I tried it again now, in both Docker with my domain name aliased to 127.0.0.1, and in AMPPS on just 127.0.0.1. Neither worked. Nothing happens when you hit enter. Checked on both Windows and Mac, too.
Thanks. Indeed I am using the key listed under my account for that domain. When I visit Settings -> FV Player Pro I see the green ‘Pro pack installed’ button, but a different license key in the box. If I attempt to add the key listed for my account I don’tsee any button for saving or updating the key,and if I navigate away from the page and return the key I added does not show up. This also occurs when I run my site in AMPPS on 127.0.0.1, without any aliasing to my actual domain.

Thanks Juraj. Just to be clear, the ‘example.org’ in my original post was just a dummy domain, indeed I am actually using cageconcert.org. I am alising that to 127.0.0.1 in /etc/hosts (I’m on a Mac Mini, by the way, if that helps). This is running inside a Docker container, with nginx as a reverse proxy.
I wonder if this is related to the alising then – the fact that it’s not a live domain?
Best wishes,
Chris5 years ago in reply to: Adding VTT ChaptersThank you Martin. Actually I’m just using 127.0.0.1. I did try localhost instead and indeed got the error message I think you were referring to about the video not being checkable. But the particular error I’m seeing is a 404.
If this is just an issue arising from local development then I’m not very concerned. The videos will ultimately be hosted on a public site. But it would be useful to know exactly what is causing this.
As I say I am running this in AMPPS at the moment. But I will be building a test Docker container for the site shortly, which I can run on a .local domain. I can test if this issue still arises then.
5 years ago in reply to: Adding VTT ChaptersJust to add that I was initially using the FV Player Database to add players and reference them, so I thought that might be the issue. But the error message occurs even if I simply add the basic shortcode, referencing the src. As before the actual videos loads and plays fine, though.

5 years ago in reply to: Adding VTT ChaptersThanks Martin. Well I’m running it at the moment, since I’m still developing, on localhost. I use AMPPS. I have the videos under the WordPress uploads folder, although for production they will go somewhere else on the same machine (actually I’ll be using Docker for deployment).
