Whitelist non-registered users (open site)

Hi there,

I love the idea behind Thoughtful Comments, but as a blog that doesn’t use User Registration (and doesn’t want to add it), I want to be able to make a whitelist of frequent commenters based on their combination of name, email address, and website (if applicable).

Is this something that can be done already? Or is it something you would consider adding?

Hi Melissa,

Workaround: if you’d like to whitelist please add the whitelisted people as users.

If the information matches, I believe the comments will pass through. Let us know if that works for you.
