UPgrade message won't go away

the “FV Flowplayer Pro extension upgraded successfully!” will not go away.

I have tried everything including a full server reboot. Any suggestions?

Hi Dan,

This might be caused by WordPress Object Caching, so if you are using it, just purge the object cache and the issue should go away.

Hello Dan,

I noticed that the message appears even after you simply update FV Player and FV Player Pro is already installed, so we will attack the issue from that end.

It goes away after a while so I do the updates around 1am.

I use the plugin that sends me an email anytime a plugin gets updated.
I noticed that I’ll get many notifications about the update but it lists users regular users to the site. So it seems like regular users are sometimes seeing the update message.

Update. I ran the latest update and it is still there.
I purged the cache and restarted the http server.

Hello Dan,

we fixed this for the upcomming FV Player release (6.0.5.25). It will not attempt FV Player Pro install if it’s already present.
