We have our auto-play video here:
http://www.abscomedia.com/blog/The video loads super slow. I’ve cleaned up at least 6 plugins that weren’t being used, but the video is still very slow.
Any suggestions are welcome!

The plugins don’t affect the download speeds of your video, they only affect how much time it takes to generate the RAW HTML of your website.

with free FV Flowplayer you can setup a Amazon S3 bucket close to the location of most of your visitors and even restrict the downloads: https://foliovision.com/player/secure-amazon-s3-guide
Such setup is better suited to serve videos than some ordinary shared hosting server as it won’t be slowed down by other websites. Small shared server are often slowed down by excessive traffic to one of the websites. So the extra cost (based on amount of traffic you get) pays off.

Hi,
i have a question concerning streaming. I use cloudfront and your pro plugin to stream thousands of videos in a paid vod site. At times all play fine but at other times, mainly during the night it gets too slow. Is there a way to fix this?

if you use CloudFront and it’s sometimes slow you should be first checking if it’s not your internet connection. You can run a test of your internet connection here: http://www.speedtest.net
