I recently purchased a FV Player Pro license for our Cancer Care website ( http://mydoctor.kpnvly.org/cancer-care/home/breast-and-ovarian-cancer/ ). Prior to this, I did a bunch of testing and a little custom programming on an intranet development server.
Now that I have installed the Pro Pack, I have lost subtitles for iOS devices.
To ensure it was the Pro Pack, I upgraded our Dev Server using my Pro license. It lost subtitles for iOS after the upgrade.
To confirm, I downgraded the intranet site back to the Free FV Player version. I deleted everything, then cleared out any db settings I could find. Once the plugin was completely gone, I did a fresh installation. Subtitles returned!
Please help! We are a major national healthcare organization. Subtitles are a legal issue for our videos, not just a convenience factor.

we are already looking into this, I’m not sure how FV Player Pro could be affecting this, so we are in process of setting up out own test for this.

Note that it only works for newer iPhones – iOS 7 and above. Those with iOS 6 and below need the subtitles track encoded in MP4 file directly.

Yes, the page your iPhone Subtitles Test page displays with subtitles on my test iOS devices. Thank you! We would be perfectly satisfied to put a disclaimer for older devices. If we can get the fix for iOS7 and newer, our legal requirements are met.

we put the fix into FV Player Pro 0.7.31. You should be seeing that in your updates, we actually already released another version – 0.7.32.
We will put in a message to iPhone iOS < 7 users if there are subtitles. Something like - "This video contains subtitles, but your device doesn't support it". Thanks, Martin
Thank you very much! I have applied the updated FV Player Pro and now our videos show with Subtitles on IOS devices.
