We purchase the latest FVplayer pro and downloaded the coconut utility, and set up digital ocean spaces with the folders according to your set up instructions. I also put in the CORS settings on digital ocean according to your Cors documentation. Unfortunately, I cannot get the resulting video to play. Under coconut jobs, the three encodes I have tried show completed, with no error. But, the videos will not play on the site. When I pasted the url into the hls.js demo, i received this error: “A network error occurred: manifestLoadError” . When I try and play the video in the fvplayer, I get the ” hljs-lite Network error.” Any ideas what I am doing wrong? Thanks!

Hello David,
Could you please check in wp-admin -> FV Player -> Settings -> Hosting -> DigitalOcean Spaces. What values do you have in for “Space Name” and “Endpoint” ?
It should have both the source and target DigitalOcean Spaces names, separated with

Hi,
Everything in the hosting area is as you suggested. Here are things I also tried:- I noticed that the origin endpoint listed on DO for each space was something like
https://my-bucket-name.datacentername.digitaloceanspaces.com
so I tried adding an https to the endpoint, which did not work.
- I re-created the player shortcode just in case.
Neither worked, so i went back to the original settings.I still am getting the error ” hlsjs-lite: Network error ” message on the player after it buffers for about 10 seconds…
Any ideas what to try next?

I also tried creating a video shortcode using the cdn enpoint for the playlist, (as copied directly from DO ) which is different from the one that the coconut interface creates. That had the same error…
Okay, I enabled the “Stream Loader” function on the player as we are using m3u8 playlists, and that seems to be working….. Maybe the m3u8 was timing out?

I’m not sure why it would not be enabled automatically.
Please let us know if you run FV Player Coconut setup wizard before installing FV Player Pro.

We did run the setup wizard, but it may be possible I messed something up.
So, Most here is a problem we are seeing. With a freshly loaded web page, about 60% of the time first click on the player gives us audio but black screen with buffering (no video). If I then refresh the page it works fine…. Here is an error message from my wordpress dashboard:
FV Player Pro: Stream Loader encountered errors while serving HLS streams: show details
Domain has error rate of 100%
Message: A valid URL was not provided. First: 2023-11-02 22:26:12 Last: 2023-11-03 14:39:12 Count: 1
How should we proceed?
