    Just installed the players and i cant get it to stop saying “FV Flowplayer License upgrade failed – please check if you are running the plugin on your licensed domain.” when i put in the licence key i’ve paid for. Not agreat start to using this for the first time. Could you check my domain ASAP please.

    Hello Keith,

    as a quick fix you can download FV Player Pro manually by clicking the Download icon at https://foliovision.com/my-licenses

    It appears the license check has issues reaching our server. Perhaps your server has problem understanding the SSL certificate found on foliovision.com. However our certificate is properly installed and it works.

    Proper solution would be to ask your server support to fix this on the server side. Alternatively we could add a plugin option to skip the SSL checks when communicating with out server. There is no sensitive information send, no passwords nor user details.

    Hi Keith,

    You’re absolutely right: this is a terrible user experience and we’re dedicated to making sure it doesn’t happen again. We haven’t had an issue with our SSL certificate so if you could get information from your host about what they don’t like about our SSL setup, we’d be delighted to rectify the issue. For the moment, manual updates should work fine.

    We are working on fixing this, we just need more info.
