Does it work in Elementor?

Hello Martine,

I tested our player with Elementor and the shortcode editor is unfortunately not supported. The only way to use it is to manually edit the shortcodes. However, we are actively looking for ways to make our player compatible with page builders and we’ll let you know when we make any progress on this.

It’s tricky with the page builders because there is a lot of them that are popular and each behaves a little differently. Our player currently works with Divi builder and we are planning to make it work better with Visual Composer.

We could possibly add support for Elementor sometime in the future. If you are seriously interested though, we are always open to doing custom programming for a fee.

Sadly but no, we’ve improved our support for Gutenberg but we haven’t done any updates to Elementor integration yet.

However, one of our main goals for upcoming months is to significantly improve integration with various page builders. Elementor is for sure on our list.

Yes, we’ve fixed the Elementor compatibility in 7.4.7.727 update.

Hello Bart,

We’ve tested it and we experience compatibility issues with FV Player widget field.

However, you should be still able to embed videos without any issues via basic Elementor Text Editor widget field. Simply click on the FV Player button above the text editor and FV Player Video Editor will pop-up.

Hello Peter,

we have fixed the FV Player widget in Elementor. Now it does update the preview and does save problem. The new FV Player version with the fix should be out today.
