WPLMS – Commas are missing

[Solved]

Foliovision › Forums › FV Player › Troubleshooting › WPLMS – Commas are missing

  • Andre94 8 years, 11 months ago

Hello guys! I’m using the latest version of the plugin. For some reason the plugin is removing commas from my wordpress courses. When I disable the plugin, the commas reappear. How can I solve this problem?

    Hello Andre94,

are you using FV Player as well as FV Player Pro? If so, does disabling FV Player Pro fix the issue? Please just try to disable it for a minute and have a look.

    Thanks,
    Martin

    Hello Andre94,

one of our client websites uses WPLMS with Vibe Course Module (1.9.4) and I can see the commas appear without issues when I open some course unit. Are you having this issue on some course unit as well?

If you order our pro support we will be able to check the issue hands-on right on your website: http://foliovision.com/pro-support

    Thanks,
    Martin

I hope this will help. It may be for an older version. As I mentioned, if you pick up a pro support incident, we’ll fix the issue hands on ourselves on your site.

Hi I am having the same issues with commas missing.

I’ve followed the documentation on how to use WPLMS with FV Player and set up the recommended settings, however no commas show within the WPLMS units.

Noticed this is a year old. Was there a fix for this.

I have FV player pro installed.

    Hi Francis,

I checked our changelog and the problem has probably not been fixed. I’ll check what can be done about it.

    Thanks,
    Eduard

    Hi Martin,

Yes I am using the recommended settings. See below the screenshots.

Was there a fix for this error when it was highlighted a year ago.

    Hello Francis,

thank you for the screenshots. The point was to not use “Parse old shortcodes with commas.”, sorry if my question was not clear.

We haven’t heard back from Andre. We haven’t heard about any similar issue until you reported it again and we have some more users who WPLMS.

However now I realized that under some circumstances (front-end editing perhaps) there could be a problem and put a fix into the current release of FV Player.

Could you please reinstall FV Player? To do that you will have to first deactivate and delete the current FV Player plugin you are using. And then just install it again via your wp-admin. WordPress will warn you that you might loose settings and data, but it’s not the case with out plugin, no settings now videos will be lost.

    Thanks,
    Martin

    Hi

I am led to this because of WPLMS. I am finding that when I use splash image it becomes automatically the course image and it gets loaded in full size on the course unit page. The video becomes very small at the bottom.

    Hi Shailendra,

Could you please check if the option Add featured image automatically is active in Settings > FV Player > Setup tab > Integrations/Compatibility?

    Thanks,
    Eduard

    Hi Eduard

    Hi Eduard

I am not getting the speed buttons when I view videos loaded in WPLMS on Tab or smartphone. Any help on that please.
