combine id and startend parameters in shortcode?

With FVPlayer Pro we are using shortcodes like
[fvplayer id="32" startend = "00:23:37 - 00:25:20"]
which works often, but intermittently we receive complaints from our users that the video cannot be played.
Is it ok to combine the id and startend parameters?

Hello Girish,

while combining the id and additional parameters is not the common practice, it works.

You can also set the start-end parameter right in the shortcode editor: https://foliovision.com/player/advanced/custom-start-end-time#user-interface or write out the whole shortcode with all of its parameters.

So the issue is not in combining player id and the parameter. Can you provide us with the link to the problematic video? Also, can you find out what browsers and devices do the users experience the issues on?

Hello Girish,

what you are doing is considered to be an expert feature. I find it very useful for the FV Player demos – I can use the same [fvplayer id="..."] over and over again and just enable different features for it for different demo pages.

It appears to me the issue must be with the actual custom start time code. Apart from the browser information which Maria requested we also need to know what video type does seem to trigger the issue.

The problem is solved, the confusion was in something else.
I activated the custom startend in the GUI now, this makes things even simpler.
