I just got an email saying I missed my renewal and now asking for $288

I was under the impression I was on a yearly payment schedule with PayPal and it auto renewed. How can I get back to my $197 renewal rate?

Hi Willie,

Thanks for your note.

I’m afraid we cannot do that, as it requires a lot of manual work. We offer the discount to customers who continually renew within the license period. After you renew, though I’ll add two months free to your license which will make sure that renewal doesn’t fall in the middle of summer.

We’ll be working on some kind of auto-renewal system in the fall, as you’re right, that would be simpler for our long term users. We don’t like to force a subscription which is why we didn’t start with automated auto-renewal.

I just renewed, so next year will the renewal be $168 or the $288 as long as I renew it in time?

Hi Willie,

Yes, you will pay the lowered price of $168 as long as you renew your license in time. I’ve added two more months into your license for free so it won’t fall in the middle of the summer as Alec said in his reply.

We’ll keep you posted about the upcoming auto renewal system updates.
