Can I market videos with woocommerce?

Hello, how are you?

I’m Brazilian and I have some wordpress websites and I want market a place to my friends post their videos and brodcasts. Can I market this place for videos and brodcasts with woocommerce?

Hi P H Santiago,

This really depends on what post editor is the WooCommerce (or any other plugin that you’re using to sell space on your website) using. If it’s using the standard WordPress editor is shouldn’t be a problem to embed a video with FV Player.

You’ll need a way to automatically upload and encode those videos. We’re currently developing a FV Player Vzaar plugin that will solve these issues and will allow you to just drag a video file onto your website and it will automatically upload to given CDN and encode. But that’s only first part of it.

What you are looking for here is not just a video plugin but video platform development. We do offer a “Your Private Netflix” service for a really complete platform. If you’re looking for partial development help, we can provide that as well on an ad-hoc basis.
