I am building a new website using woocommerce and want to integrate your player for trailers and hopefully even full length movie streaming (rental). At this moment I only sell downloads of the movies.
My trailers and full length movies are H.264 Movs in 1280×720 and 1920×1080 size. I know about the mime problem and can set the trailers to video/mp4 but not the full lengths movs as these are used for download. I could create a new bucket and repeat them as mp4’s for streaming rental (but they are all 2.5Gb each).
This is a movie product page – a sample is here: ‘www.emptymindfilms.com/newsite/product/one-shot-one-life/’
Here are my problems:
1. If you click on ‘watch Trailers’ you see your shortcode link does not work here. This tab is a plugin (woocommerce video tab) and I believe it only uses iframes (such as youtube). I really want to use this ‘video tab’ to show trailers.
2. Because of this I posted the trailer on the ‘synopsis’ tab which is the regular post page. As you see the video displays at a small size than the box. The box is set to 640×360 and so is the video. I would like the box to go full width of the tab so it is responsive (100%) if not I will set a size. How do I get the video content to fit the box width?
Any help would be appreciated as you are now my final solution (tried 20 other players!!). Sublime video did work well but I want to remove the logo (they only offer subscriptions). I will be paying you for a license if I get the player working.
I also want to discuss a solution to renting movies with your player. Ideally a video player that is accessed via a link sent to the customer using woocommerce. Just like buying a download file. Your player can be on a restricted page (using groups woocommerce plugin). But the player must expire 24 hrs after start.
Another option is to redirect a customer from the checkout to their account page where they access the movie rental. This page could then expire – maybe using a membership type expiry.I am willing to pay for a solution to the above if you think it is possible. I would also point you to this solution although it is very buggy and only uses paypal (I need stripe as well)….. http://html5.svnlabs.com/pay-per-plugin-for-html5-media/
Thanks for your valued time.
