    Hi there,

    I have a “custom” subscription level at Vimeo.
    FV player PRO does not seem to accept that subscription level.
    “FV Player Pro: Your Vimeo access token is invalid, your videos won’t play. Click here to fix this issue.”
    The config page of FV player PRO states: “Your Vimeo plan is custom. You need at least a Vimeo “Pro” or “Standard” plan to use Vimeo with 3rd party players, including FV Player Pro.”

    Custom is a valid level and it has worked before I updated the FV player PRO plug-in. Can you please add “custom” to your subscription check?

    Hello Karin,

    Thank you for letting us know about the issue.

    Please deactivate and delete the FV Player Pro plugin you are using, then hit “Install Pro extension” at the top of the wp-admin -> FV Player -> Settings screen.

    That will give you the FV Player Pro plugin with the fix.

    The fix will be a part of the next FV Player Pro version too, so you can just wait for the new release if you prefer.

    I have updated to 8.0.27 now installed but that still gives me the error: Your Vimeo plan is custom. You need at least a Vimeo “Pro” or “Standard” plan to use Vimeo with 3rd party players, including FV Player Pro.

    Or do I need to wait for a newer version?

    Can you please check if 8.0.27 should resolve the problem? Because I still have the error.

    Hello Karin,

    Please to the Beta release using the steps from here if you are not already using it: https://foliovision.com/player/basic-setup/switching-fv-player-pro-to-beta


    Then you should see an upgrade to FV Player Pro 8.1.3.beta which will fix the issue for you.
