When the community needs a new function, we like to deliver it as fast as we can. However, it means that the new features are not always stable in the beginning and might contain some bugs. As with every software product, the new and experimental features, which are functioning, but are not yet without flaws, are released under the label Beta. This ensures, that whoever chooses to use them is aware that issues might occur.
Beta gives the people who want it the option to use new features the very second they become available. But what about the users that don’t need it and want to use our plugin as stable and bug-less as possible?
FV Player Pro will let you use two versions – the stable Release version, or the Beta with the new features. You can choose by simply switching a button and you can change this setting any time you want.
All you need to is to go to Settings -> FV Player Pro and in the top left corner you’ll see a drop-down list.
After switching to Beta, you’ll see a message: “FV Player Pro: You are currently using the beta release which gives you the following beta improvements:” Followed by a list of improvements. As said, you can switch back to the Release version whenever you want.
