I create a playlist with shortcode.
How can I add subtitles to play with all parts of the playlist ?

Thanks for asking!
Open the playlist in the FV Player Shortcode editor –> Click on a video from the playlist –> Go to the Subtitles tab –> Add the subtitle file. This way you can add a subtitle file to each video separately.

The correct shortcode structure for VTT subtitle file is explained here: https://foliovision.com/player/basic-setup/shortcode-parameters#subtitles.
This is the URL form you posted: subtitles_en=”https://www.operaonvideo.com/subtitles/103476_en1.vtt. Please, change it to: subtitles=”https://www.operaonvideo.com/subtitles/103476_en1.vtt ” and it should work.

actually subtitles_en should work. I tried your shortcode and it works. Are you having any issues with it? Then please check in the source HTML mode of the editor to ensure there are no unwanted symbols or markup.

Hi Kurt,
We strongly recommend against manually managing complex videos and playlists in source code versions now. There’s too much margin for error which is why we moved away from simple shortcodes to custom interface and finally to database. But yes, if you follow the guidelines very carefully, they do still work.
For simple video posting, they are even very useful still.
