The play button at the bottom left of the player, and the volume on/mute do not appear when playing the video. I can play the video by pressing the middle of the screen. Also, the button to expand/collapse is missing. How can i fix this?

Have you customized the elements that disappeared in CSS? Or have you by any chance turned off options “Fullscreen Button” and “Play Button” in Settings > FV Player > Setup tab > Sitewide FV Player Defaults?
It would also help if you could send us a link to your video, so we can test it.

EduardThanks Eduard. I actually just needed to change the color of the Control Bar in the skin. The Play button was matched to the same color so it appeared to disappear, but i could right click > view image so that told me it was there and just colored wrong. Also interesting on iphone the volume icon doesn’t show since we can control volume with the phone. that’s cool! All is fixed now, thanks!

I’m glad that it works now. Mobile devices allow volume adjusting only through hardware buttons, so the sound controls in the player wouldn’t work, therefore they are hidden.
