Hi Jeff,
It seems that you have used the full link with tracking parameters (probably from a newsletter) – https://vimeo.com/215589792/5cdda1a3fc?utm_source=email&utm_medium=vimeo-cliptranscode-201504&utm_campaign=29220. To play the video in FV Player, just use the Vimeo domain + video ID: https://vimeo.com/215589792.
Thanks,
EduardHi Jason,
Of course. You can see test it yourself in this demo – Playback Speed. The first video is hosted on Vimeo.
Thanks,
EduardHi Jason,
Yes, you can, but the feature is only available in FV Player Pro. You can read more about it in this guide – How to Use Custom Start/End Time.
Thanks,

if you press play, you will see an ad interrupt the video. that’s coming from a plugin i am developing called the adz.world plugin
well — when visitors click continue — the video isn’t where it was interrupted, but back at the beginning.
can your player make it so interrupted videos play where they were before they were cut off by an ad?
best,
dainisHi Dainis!
Free version of the player only embeds a video and that is played via native Vimeo player. We cannot influence functionality here much. We have advanced Vimeo integration through our player in Pro version.
Thanks,
LuciaOla to com um Sistema de ensino a distancia e compre este plugin pra deixar o site com um playr personalizado mais não esta funcionado o host do vimeo, site com o video de referencia ja no privado funciona mais nesta pagina não esta funcionado como resolver/
https://ascurso.com/courses/html5css3-essentials-in-4-hours/Hi Paulo!
I see this video works. Do you have trouble with privacy settings for Vimeo video? Or is there a problem that a Vimeo video video does not work for you within membership site? I’m sorry i did not grasp probably the full message with google translate.
If you want to make your videos private please make sure that in privacy settings on Vimeo you choose:
* Hide this from Vimeo – video will be displayed only on your page, not visible on Vimeo
* Where can this video be embedded? – only on site I choose (add your site)
* What can people do with this video? – do not tick download it/ add it to collections…Thanks,
Lucia
Hi Paulo!
I’m sorry I could not again grasp what the problem is here. I see that first image is Vimeo player interface with Vimeo on demand service. And the second one is a video set up on ascurso.com. Is there a problem with the video set up in the second case? Could you try to tell us more about it in English?
Thank you!
Lucia
Oi Lucia, Obrigado(a), pela resposta, mais jé resolvi o problema esta tudo OK, https://www.ascurso.com/cursos/
na verdade o problema estava em um plugin de cache.Hello Marshall,
the Vimeo chapters parsing feature is done now.
To get it please deactivate and delete the FV Player Pro plugin you are using, then hit “Install Pro extension” at the top of the wp-admin -> Settings -> FV Player screen.
Then switch to Beta: https://foliovision.com/player/basic-setup/switching-fv-player-pro-to-betaPlease also reinstall FV Player (the free, non-Pro plugin) from this link: https://github.com/foliovision/fv-wordpress-flowplayer/archive/master.zip
To do that you will have to first deactivate and delete the current FV Player plugin you are using. WordPress will warn you that you might loose settings and data, but it’s not the case with our plugin, no settings now videos will be lost. Or you can just replace the plugin files via FTP.
Then each time you insert a Vimeo video using FV Player editor you will not only get the splash image and video caption in an automated way, but also the chapters.
Thanks,
Maria
