After installing the FV player pro version, it started to handle / skin my youtube videos. i would like my youtube videos to maintain their normal youtube window look without the FV player skin. How do I do this please?

In this case you have to embed videos directly from Youtube via their built-in iframe and not use FV Player shortcodes for those videos.

Thanks for your reply. I am using Elementor and I only used Elementor video embed tools to embed the video. I don’t see how elementor could have associated the video embed with fv player. Even after trying YouTube embed code, FV player still grabs it and skins the video. Please help

Please check if you have the Handle WordPress video shortcodes option enabled in your Integration/Compatibility settings.
If yes, try turning it off.

I have another question.
How can I ensure that my FV player is at best performance while using it with Jetpack VideoPress?Sometimes when a video is playing and you skip to say half of the video, it just keeps loading till you skip to another part of the video; only after doing this can you now choose to skip to any other part of the video without having to wait for video to load and keep playing.

Most of the performance settings are handled by your browser and we can’t do anything with them.
Only way to make loading/buffering times on your videos shorter is by using better hosting or by using some kind of CDN(This is really recommended if you have high number of users visiting your website from different continent than your website server is on). Please check if Jetpack VideoPress offer any CDN(Content delivery network) service.

does VideoPress used HLS format? I noticed such problem with some of the HLS streams when playing in browser like Firefox or Chrome on a desktop computer – it hs to use the HLS.js to play as these browser don’t support HLS natively and it has some minor issues like that with some of the streams.
