Hey, I wonder if there are plans regarding Wowza Streaming Engine DVR support for HLS and DASH live streams? My standard multi-bit rate DVR player is based on flowplayer commercial 7.2.7 Regards, Andy

Hello Andrew,
we have added the “DVR Stream” support into the FV Player Editor for the upcoming release. It would be great if you could give it a try just reinstall FV Player from this link: https://github.com/foliovision/fv-wordpress-flowplayer/archive/master.zip
To do that you will have to first deactivate and delete the current FV Player plugin you are using. WordPress will warn you that you might loose settings and data, but it’s not the case with our plugin, no settings now videos will be lost. Or you can just replace the plugin files via FTP.
In case of issues you can still go back to the version from WordPress.org or find it in wp-admin -> Plugins -> Add New.
To use the feature you can just put your HLS or MPD stream into the Video field of the FV Player Editor and the new “DVR Stream” checkbox will appear. Or you can put in a shortcode like [fvplayer src="https://your-server.com/your-stream.m3u8" dvr="true"]
One bug I’m noticing is that changing these checkboxes in the preview doesn’t affect the preview. So we will get that fixed before the official release.
Thanks,
Martin
