Video embedded via shortcode becomes huge when scrolling while playing

[Solved]

Foliovision › Forums › FV Player › Bug Reports › Video embedded via shortcode becomes huge when scrolling while playing

  • Jörn 1 month, 3 weeks ago

I am embedding an FV Player via shortcode in a Thrive Architect page. This works fine in dozens of other pages. But in this one, when scrolling while the video plays, the video gets blown up to huge proportions and runs as a Frankenstein background (s. attached images).

    This is the affected page:

This looks like a bug or incompatibility with Thrive Themes?

    Can you help?

This also happens, when I set sticky=false in the shortcode.

    Hello Jörn,

Thank you for the detailed bug report.

We fixed the issues with disabling of sticky for the new FV Player 8 release.

Now we added code to prevent the display issues you are running into. To get it please upgrade to FV Player 8 using this plugin version from this link: https://foliovision.com/downloads/fv-player-8.zip

It will deactivate FV Player 7 which you are using automatically and upgrade FV Player Pro to matching version 8.

If the player size is still too big, please disable the Litespeed CSS optimizations and see if that helps. Then we can check why it’s happening.

    Thanks,
    Martin
