We are changing amazon HLS to coconut with digitalocean.
All work amazing and easy. On windows and android all working ok but our customer on iPhone have error “Video not properly encoded html5”. I dont use iphone and don’t have how to check it. Can you help me?customer iphone 13

Hello Maryia,
The demo video which you posted is not encrypted. Does the issue occur on the members-only encrypted videos?
Please ask your users if he’s using iCloud Private Relay and if disabling that will avoid the issue. We noticed that the encrypted HLS playback sometimes fails when using that iCloud feature and we are looking into fixing it.

Yes, this demo film is automatic trailer from encrypted video (option in FV module). I was thinking that it is encrypted too but “Encrypted HLS” for this video is empty so its not. Sorry. On members videos there is Encrypted HLS. Members videos don’t work on iPhones (there is no problem on android and windows). I’m waiting for information whether the video in the FAQ works. I have added second one encrypted video to the FAQ for a moment so you can check it out.

This option is off on their phones so that is no reason

Thank you for the second demo video, I was able to reproduce the issue.
It appears you have entered
kurs.mariemargo.plas one of the video hosting domains on wp-admin -> FV Player -> Settings -> Hosting.This can be seen in the “System Info” which you sent earlier. It’s set for AWS CloudFront, so please remove it from there. Since it’s the actual domain of your website, it cannot be configured as CloudFront for FV Player.
On our end we will look into why this would stop the video loading and prevent it.

I deleted CloudFront data. The videos are on coconut secure with digitalocean hosting. What has CloudFront to it?

CloudFront has nothing to do with it. I guess it was there from one of your previous video serving setups.

As I wrote, we had movies there before, now we are switching to coconut secure with digitalocean hosting. I get information from clients that everything is working. I don’t know where the problem was, but the important thing is that it works now.
Thanks again for the software development. Uploading movies and encrypting on AWS was torture. Now you can do it through the website and everything is done by itself. Great job! Thanks!

When testing on your site I noticed it does not use DigitalOcean Spaces CDN. That way the video serving in different parts of world won’t be as fast.
I wonder if the setup wizard failed in one of the steps.
Please check wp-admin -> FV Player -> Coconut Jobs -> Settings -> “Show wizard log” and let us know if it’s there and if it says anything.
